IPRS Donor Benefits

It is our mission to conduct and encourage research to increase our understanding of the role of magnesium and other minerals in health and disease, to develop the tools to monitor magnesium, to educate people about the importance of having adequate levels of magnesium and to advocate for additional research and adoption of standards and best practices so as to more effectively prevent and/or treat various magnesium-related diseases on a global scale.

We have developed a comprehensive basic research plan as well as a number of specific project plans for basic research, disease-specific applied research, education, advocacy and translation into clinical practice.  We would love to discuss the details with potential sponsors and/or collaborators.  Collaborations with academic, government and industry are of interest.  For some additional details of involvement see some current project opportunities.

As part of our commitment to better health, we have recently become involved in a technology translation project to reduce air pollution from motor vehicles as well as other combustion sources. We believe this older technology that is being used in novel ways will have a global impact on reducing diseases of heart and lung that take millions of lives each year.  See more details on Dr. Kim's technology
